Empty Playgrounds, 2017 examines constructs of play in an era of hyper-technology. It consists of 55 eclectically matted and framed pixelated photographs collected from 2015-2017 throughout the United States and Canada. They are displayed amidst an eponymous interactive sculptural and sound installation. First exhibited as a solo show at Object Space in Spokane, Washington (June 2-July 30, 2017) where the work was accompanied by the six-square foot oil painting Quiet Zone, 2014 on loan from North Central High School, seven oil paintings from Prismaticism, 2017, and a large print by local photographer, Dean Davis. The photographs were also featured in December 2017 at The Garland Theater
