I've always been a holiday music fanatic! Classic Rat pack action and Vince Guaraldi Trio of course interspersed with funk from the Whispers, George Winston's solo piano and some of my favorite contemporary songwriters who keep making a stab at the xmas scene: Andrew Bird, Mountain Man and Mimicking Birds to name a few. We too (Heat Speak) have produced a handful of original holiday songs over the years.

Today as we usher in the final month of 2025, we'd like to introduce a piano piece performed by Phil Pintor call ‘December.’ Spontaneously co-composed during an improvisational studio session, the song's holiday spirit is palpable and will be a great companion to your festive contemplative inner-working winter ambiance.

Time shifts…light changes
On November 2nd, when the clocks fall back, I’m releasing a new song called “Paradigm of a Setting Sun.”

It is a through-journey ruminating on cycles—of nature, of sound, of human perception. It looks to capture the soft dissonance between fading light and emerging shadow, asking: “what does sunlight sound like to you?” […] “we’re manifest light surrounded by plant life bathed by phenomena. Echoed by moonlight carried from the far side paradigm of a setting sun.”
